John Lloyd has been working with birds for more than 40 years now and has been rescuing for over 10 years. These birds in need deserve more and we are here to give them the love and attention they need and find them loving homes.

Birds are not just handed out to anyone who wants a bird. You have to being checked out and qualify to adopt a bird from here.

Your home has to be inspected for the safety of the bird.

An adoption fee applies to all birds.

Dawn Clayton manages the Pet Club here in Santa Rosa and is a great help with birds as well as the rescue of many animals. She is an important asset to Birds of a Feather Rescue.

We will find them homes that are guaranteed to give the same love we do. All adopters will sign agreements (see the Adoption page) for me to check on the birds on a regular basis.
