It has been a while since posting but a lot has gone on here.
First let me explain that if you are not chosen as a qualified recipient for one of our birds it is not personal. We have a strict set of guidelines to be sure these birds get the best of homes.
Recently we refused a woman and her husband a bird and got a scathing review on our facebook page. The reason for the turn down was that they had a cockatoo that didn't like her husband so they quote "got rid of it". For this reason I felt that the bird would not benefit from them and turned them down.
If a person states that this is what happened, why would I release another cockatoo to them? My birds have been through enough without me having to worry about them getting rid of it.
If you are looking to adopt a bird, fill out the application on the website and we will contact you.
